Cowgirl Up! BBQ
In Fresno, Clovis and the surrounding communities, the Central Valley Honor Flights are celebrated, and what CVHF does to support our veterans is phenomenal. Clovis Rodeo wanted to help – and we decided to Cowgirl Up! and raise funds to support this group. Our annual event would be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Central Valley Honor Flights, have fun, and make a difference in our community.
And make a difference we did! We had a great time at our 2023 Cowgirl Up luncheon! Thank you SO MUCH to the over 320 guests that made this event a resounding success! And a BIG thank you to so many wonderful individual and corporate sponsors that contributed product, services and prizes to the event; your help made all the difference. Our volunteer cowboys enjoyed serving a delicious lunch and libations, and thanks to John Pemberton we had the BEST music for the event. Paul Loeffler, Honor Flight Board President, shared CVHF’s story and plans for continued support of our Veterans. Tim Sisil and Geoff Gates were our live auction tag team, and they did a phenomenal job. One thing is for sure, we can’t wait until next year’s Cowgirl Up event!
