Mayor’s Letter

Welcome to Clovis!  Whether you are a longtime rodeo fan or this is your first experience with professional rodeo – and whether you are from Clovis or have traveled a distance to join us – on behalf of the citizens of the City of Clovis and my colleagues on the Clovis City Council, we are glad to see you here!

Clovis is proud of our Clovis Rodeo, now in its 110th year and among the top 20 rodeos in the nation.  Our Western heritage is an important part of our community.

Special thanks to the Clovis Rodeo Association for organizing this week of cherished community traditions, unmatched rodeo competition, exceptional displays of sportsmanship, terrific entertainment, and delicious food!

We appreciate each rodeo spectator. Thank you for taking time to be a part of our community, whether for a day, a weekend, or over generations.  While you’re with us, we invite you to enjoy all that Clovis has to offer – from restaurants and shops to trails and parks, and so much more.
